OOC PREFERENCES:
CONTACT METHOD: Plurk ([plurk.com profile] draconic)/PM
THREAD-JACKING: Sure
FOURTH WALLING / CANON PUNCTURE: I'd rather not, mostly to avoid the headache that would likely be involved
BACKTAGGING: Absolutely! I tend to be a slow tagger at the best of times anyway, and will backtag absolutely forever
AVOIDED TOPICS: Nothing I can think of; if for whatever reason something comes up or starts squicking me real bad I'll mention it
PREFERRED GENDER PRONOUN: she/hers, etc

IC CHARACTERISTICS:
CURRENT CANON POINT: Shortly after throwing himself dramatically off a cliff near the end of KH3
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Coming in at about 6'1", with black-haired streaked with grey, a nasty scar down the side of his face and an eyepatch over one eye, Xigbar is pretty hard to miss. And that's not taking into account the unusual color of his one remaining eye (an odd sort of yellow-orange), the slightly pointed tips to his ears, and the fact that he sounds a little bit like an aging surfer dude. He's also prone to speaking with his hands or otherwise incorporating dramatic gestures into what he's saying, and he has absolutely no qualms about extending that into some of the more casual sorts of physical touch as well (usually, an arm around someone's shoulders).

He'll almost always be found wearing the customary uniform of the Organization (long black hooded coat, black gloves, tall black boots, black pants), and for those who are capable of noticing it, smells predominantly of leather and space, although given that he isn't technically supposed to exist by the rules of his universe the latter may fade in and out.
DEMEANOR: Chill and laid-back, with a distinct tendency to the casual, but also markedly inclined to being not at all serious. Basically think somewhere between a troll and a walking shitpost and you're in the right ballpark. He's also a nosy bastard, and has no compunctions against casual eavesdropping. Still, he manages to not come off as directly mean-spirited most of the time, and compared to most of the rest of the major antagonists of his canon, he's downright personable.

That said, he's a terrible person in more ways than one and isn't (currently) capable of feeling emotions besides; while he's a damned good liar, people are more than welcome to realize that something isn't quite right if they'd pick up on that.
ABILITIES: Spatial manipulation: Pretty much exactly what it sounds like. Thanks to being aligned to the element of space, Xigbar is capable of manipulating the space around him. While he most frequently uses this to enable short range line-of-sight teleports and as a means to just kind of ignore gravity by either floating in midair (both right-side-up and upside down) or casually hanging around on walls or ceilings, he's also capable of creating miniature warpholes to send either parts of his body or the projectiles from his weapons through, redirecting any projectiles that he's already fired, and generally altering the shape of a room (most frequently to make it smaller).
Weapons: While not strictly an ability unless you count the fact that he can summon and dismiss them at will, Xigbar's weapons - a pair of "arrowguns", collectively referred to as Sharpshooter - fire bullets made of a sort of magical energy, and can be wielded either as a pair of one-handed weapons or combined into a long-range sniper rifle. The can also fire larger charged shots - while these take longer to fire, they are correspondingly harder to block and generally use up more of the shot capacity of the arrowguns.
Darkness manipulation: Similar to his ability to manipulate space, Xigbar is also capable of manipulating darkness. While he primarily uses this to create portals of darkness - which largely serve as a longer distance teleportation that's capable of handling everything from simply wanting to move a couple dozen feet, to going to a completely different world - it's also implied that he's capable of manipulating the darkness in a heart and drawing that darkness forth, although this isn't something he does particularly often.
Light/Darkness sensing: Related to the above, Xigbar is also capable of sensing how much light and darkness exists in people's hearts, where "good" emotions (happiness, love, etc) read as "light" and "bad" emotions (rage, anger, jealousy, etc) read as "dark". On its own, it doesn't do much more than let him be a little more nosy than he might otherwise been, although when taken in conjunction with the previous ability it gives him a little more insight into who might be susceptible to having their darkness manipulated.
Keyblade Master: As one of the oldest Keyblade Wielders in the series, and a Master in his own right, Xigbar is presumably well-versed in combat and a skilled swordsman besides. If a little rusty on account of not having actually used a Keyblade in a good long while. (As of his arrival, he does not have access to his Keyblade and won't be regaining it any time soon.)
Transferences: Just in case all the rest wasn't ridiculous enough, Xigbar is also capable of traversing what canon refers to as "worldlines" (presumable something akin to alternate realities, although this is never made clear) as well as summoning people across worldlines and may, in fact, be able to tell when temporal shenanigans have been going on. In a loosely relatedly vein, he also knows how to transfer his heart - the part of himself that makes him him - into another vessel (read: another body) in order to prolong his life.

As of his arrival to the Barge, everything except his short-range teleports and ability to sense light and darkness is capped and currently unavailable.
MEDICAL INFORMATION: Xigbar is what canon refers to as a Nobody. That is to say, a being who has lost their heart (the emotional core of person and part of what makes them who they are) and who - by the rules of his home universe - shouldn't really exist. What this actually means, from a medical stand-point, is that while he looks perfectly human on first glance - and will mostly react as expected to various medical treatments - actually trying to get a scan of what's going on under the hood is likely going to be... complicated. He also might "bleed" darkness when injured, so that's a thing.

As far as actual medical history goes, he's missing an eye and has a nasty scar down the side of his face (seen here), as well as a variety of scars from other fights.
CABIN INFORMATION: The door to his cabin looks like so, while the aesthetic of the cabin itself is a sort of cross between this and this.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Partially as a result of being a Nobody, and thus not currently capable of actually feeling emotions, Xigbar is very, very hard to genuinely offend. He might pretend to be, from time to time, but for the most part nothing much is gonna faze him.

IC PERMISSIONS:
MENTAL: Sure! For anything more in-depth clairvoyance/telepathy/empathy-wise shoot me a line somewhere and I can give you a run-down of what to expect.
MIMICRY: It's about a 50/50 shot if he'll find it funny or not, but go right ahead!
VIOLENCE: Absolutely. While he isn't going to be directly picking them, Xigbar is always up for a good fight.
MAGIC: Go for it!
DEBATE: He's probably like. the worst person to try and debate with, but sure!
OTHER / NOTES: spoiler opt-out, light/darkness sensing permissions
